Phyllis Ellis, has her own business called Farm House Graphics, but has recently started painting again after 30 years. "My passion for painting is back!" She loves painting in acrylics of landscapes and animals. She has done many portraits of friends' family members, cats, dogs, horses, mules, and of “Victor”, the democratic donkey. Phyllis exhibits her paintings as a member with Quinlan Art Center in Gainesville, Sawnee Art Association in Cumming, and the Dahlonega Arts Council at the Olde Cannery Art Gallery. Her home in Dahlonega (four miles from the Dahlonega Square) is where most of her paintings reside. "My whole house has become a gallery, even the bathrooms have paintings in them."
